About Us
We started 2nd Chance Accessibility Plus in 2019 after a conversation that changed everything.
While in Downtown Denver, we met a homeless man who shared how difficult it was to find work because of his criminal background. His story wasn’t unique; many people face the same barriers every day.
At the same time, we were experiencing our own challenges navigating inaccessible spaces: buildings without ramps, heavy doors, and bathrooms that couldn’t accommodate a powerchair.
We created 2nd Chance Accessibility Plus to improve accessibility in homes, workplaces, and communities, and provide meaningful work to those who are looking for a second chance.
